Denswood House Reviews

Roslin
Amazing spacious house, warm and welcoming, perfect for a gathering of three generations to celebrate a special birthday. Wonderful setting with beautiful grounds and woods. The weekend was enjoyed by all including the dog.
Paul
Having stayed for a week at the above property it has a lot going for it was plenty of space plus the pool. Although this property does need a lot of repairs and I don't think who ever looks after this property is looking after it as there are so many broken items and maintenance issues that needs to be addressed.
Christine
We had an amazing family holiday, wonderful setting, beautiful house fully equipped kitchen. The pool was amazing but a little tired around the edges.
Linda
A lovely house in large grounds, very grand but not for relaxing. This is the first house we have rented where No cleaning products are provided, not even washing up liquid. We were a family group of 7 adults 3 children and a baby but there was not enough comfortable seating inside for us all to sit together in the evenings. The outside furniture is in need of attention, some of the wooden chairs are broken. The decking is broken by the pool and you need shoes on the patio area otherwise you get splinters in your feet! Fortunately the weather was glorious for our stay and the pool was wonderful. Take plenty of spray for the horse flies though. In spite of negatives we did have a lovely week and there was certainly plenty of space for us all. Not sure Iâ??d recommend the property for those with small children, too many antiques and breakables and the pool is not fenced but great for adults.
Will
It is a truly unbelievable property. We had the most perfect 4 days. The pool was incredible, the grounds amazing and the inside of the house was really comfortable and homely. It was everything we hoped it be. Thank you!
Helen
Excellent accommodation in a beautiful situation.
Tom
A wonderful house for a family get-together.
Keith
A wonderful house with superb grounds and woods. A great place to spend Christmas with family and friends. Very tempted to book in the summer and make use of the large swimming pool.
Eleanore
Absolutely beautiful house. Really enjoyed our stay. I imagine even better in the summer when the pool can be used
Jenny
Splendid ,spacious ,comfortable house. Thoroughly enjoyed by three generations of my family. Pool is an excellent size, woodland and gardens are wonderful, didnt want to leave !
David
We really loved Denswood House. In every way it was wonderful, a really spacious property with so much room for everyone to go off and have their space. Two of our party are proficient players and made good use of the piano. The bathroom facilities were impressive and the bedrooms roomy. The living rooms were comfortable and the games cupboard provided entertainment for all. The grounds were extensive and provided for interesting walks for the families but it was the swimming pool that had the plaudits from many of our company. (grandparents, daughters and spouses and grandchildren).
