Archery Retreat Reviews

A fabulous property. Stunning decor. We all absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Lovely to meet Dale on arrival. Thank you for sharing this beautiful house with us.
Andrew
Archery Retreat exceeded expectations. The house was marvellous, the facilities extensive and accommodating and Dale was an informative and incredibly supportive and responsive host. Any complaints? Only that we weren't able to stay longer and can't give it more than 5 stars!
A wonderfully furnished and spacious property, there were 5 of us so we each had our own beautiful room. We would all return and would recommend to others. Fantastic location with a sea view and so easy to walk into St Leonards and into Hastings. Extremely easy to park two cars outside in the designated parking spots too.
Was a lovely house and great communication from Dale before and during our stay. We had a lovely time and found the house had everything we needed. Accessible spot and amazing views and garden! Would definitely recommend!
The house was perfect to have all the family to visit, Dale the host was very helpful. We have recommended the property to our friends.
Sophie
Thank you for making our stay amazing. Beautiful place to stay would highly recommend. The cleanliness was perfect and the little treats left were much appreciated. We will definitely stay again x
Lovely property in convenient position. No complaints at all! We hope to return
Archery Retreat is a beautiful house with lots of luxury touches. We were a three generation family and we loved sitting eating dinner around the large table with the impressive views through the gorgeous floor to ceiling windows. Dale our host was so helpful and the personal touches with the welcome pack and flowers were grateful received. The property is a great base to explore the South Coast just wished the weather was a bit kinder to us!
Richard
We really enjoyed our stay at Archery Villas in St. Leonard's on Sea. We found the premises to be ideal, lots of space, spotlessly clean with very attractive, comfortable furniture. The plants, pictures & flowers made the premises very homely. We would happily recommended this villa to anybody.
Rachel
Archery Retreat, exceeded all expectations. The property is beautiful, tastefully restored to the highest standard. Fabulous views of the sea. Everything you could want or need during your stay is provided by the host. Lovely welcome pack, spotlessly clean and in a great location. Our party of 10, 3 generations, comfortably stayed in this house and would not hesitate to use it again.
We had a fantastic stay at Archery Retreat. It was immaculate throughout. As a group of 10, 6 adults and 4 children, we found we had plenty of space and privacy with plenty of toiletsbathrooms available. The bathrooms are luxurious! Dale was so accommodating and helpful, making herself available to take in a delivery of balloons as a surprise for our birthday guest. We all commented on the tasteful design choices and lovely furniture. My mum was so impressed with the sofa, she has been out shopping to find one similar! A short walk from the beach, where the children loved running around and playing football. An absolutely beautiful house in a great location. Thanks so much for having us!
The house is beautiful, and a very short walk to the seafront, the sea can be seen from upstairs so you know its not far, all the lovely little touches, fresh flowers in the rooms, the welcome pack, chocolate, bread, marmalade and wine, very special touches throughout the house, facial wipes, cotton pads etc in the bathrooms, very nice, thank you. Our only moan would be that we booked the house thinking it was a 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom we were 5 couples so we all appreciate having our own bathrooms and it was actually 5 toilets, spread over the 4 floors but only 3 actual bathrooms, 2 being ensuite and the other 3 bedrooms having to share one bathroom, which is not the end of the world I know but did cause slight issues when we first checked in, but other than that little blip the house was lovely and we would highly recommend it. Thank you
On arriving at Archery Retreat I was amazed at how beautiful the house was as soon as you walk into entrance hall it feels welcoming. The owner had left us a welcome pack with essentials and a beautiful hand written welcome card. Every room was spotlessly clean and there was everything you needed in the kitchen. The lower level was ideal for my daughter and the two doggies it was like a self contained flat . All of the bathrooms were fitted to the highest standards our favourite feature the roll top baths. This house really has to be seen to appreciate just how wonderful it really is. Thankyou Dale for an amazing experience we hope one day to come back again x
