About Ghyll Park Farm

Ghyll Park Farm is a stunning log barn conversion sleeping 10 guests in Heathfield, East Sussex. Set within private grounds in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this property offers direct access to private woodland trails and an enclosed wrap-around garden with fenced play area. The spacious layout and dedicated games room with football table and darts make it perfect for multi-generation gatherings.

The peaceful countryside setting provides excellent walking opportunities right from your doorstep. The High Weald surroundings offer rolling hills and woodland paths.

The accommodation comprises four bedrooms: one super-king with rolltop bath en-suite, one king-size with en-suite shower and two twin rooms (both convertible to king-size). There's also a double sofa bed in the games room. Four bathrooms include a family bathroom and ground-floor Jack-and-Jill shower room. The open-plan living space features a double-sided woodburning stove and fully-equipped kitchen with American-style fridge-freezer.

We returned to this property as had overseas visitors who wanted to stay in the countryside. From start to finish, this has been a fantastic place for all of us. Very clean, very spacious and everything was done up to a very high standard just as we had remembered it! The Welcome Pack was even better than last time, with a great range of local produce, including wine & cheese! The Games room was a hit with everyone, as was the wraparound enclosed garden. We used the Pizza oven super easy and enjoyed walks on the private groundswoods. Plenty of attractions within 1020 mins drive, to cater for all tastes. Great Stay!
A wonderful stay at a beautiful property! The welcoming basket was an excellent touch. The kitchen was well stocked, the games room was well supplied and the local area and estate was beautiful. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay!
Wow! What a fantastic host and fantastic property. From start to finish staying at Shiri's beautiful property was the greatest getaway for our family. Shiri is without the doubt the most perfect host, friendly, professional and accommodating. Shiri contacted us beforehand to check how we wanted the beds arranged and to see if there was any questions. When we arrived we were welcomed with a spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed property. We stayed over New Year with family, and arrival Shiri phoned to let us know she had very kindly baked us a delicious cake, and left other provisions to welcome us. The house was decorated for Christmas, and was warm and welcoming. The house is beautifully situated surrounded by fields and woodland, and was a big hit with our dogs. The house has been renovated and decorated and is a home from home. Absolutely perfect, no negative comments at all. Thank you Shiri

Our family, with ages ranging from 15 to 78 years, had the very best time at Ghyll Park Farm. The property which, from the photograph, looks rather rustic in fact has a very high spec interior with every comfort catered for. The welcome pack was so thoughtful and most generous. Thank you, Shiri, and your team. We visited Beachy Head, The Birling Gap, Cuckmere Haven & the Seven Sisters, Charleston Farmhouse and played crazy golf on Eastbourne Pier. Something for everyone.
The owners were superb, making sure that we had all that we needed, including stair gates, cots and high chairs. The accommodation was even better than the pictures with space for us all. The kitchen, dining and seating area were ideal as we all congregated there. We particularly enjoyed the games room with both darts and table football. Everything was done to the highest order and the property was an ideal location to celebrate a significant birthday with the family.

What a wonderful place! We had an amazing stay, great accommodation for a get togethermultigeneration family. The enclosed garden is a great convenience, allowing dogschildren to play next to yet fenced off from the outdoor seating area. We thoroughly enjoyed going for woodland walks in the private woods using the map Shiri kindly provided, showing all the private trails, great at any weather! The accommodation itself is very spacious, done up to a high standard and the Games Rooms was a hit with everyone. We hope to come back and can highly recommend.

The cottage is spacious, in beautiful surroundings and furnished to the highest standard. The owners have thought of everything, every detail to give their guests the best comfort, so it cannot be faulted in any way. It is the best Sykes Cottage we have ever stayed in and we can highly recommend it to others
We had a great hoilday at Ghyll Park Farm. The property was perfect for our family of 6 adults, 2 toddlers and a dog. The large, fully enclosed garden was particularly good. Everything was beautifully clean and we had everything we needed. The very generous welcome pack was a lovely surprise and much appreciated by us all. Shiri was very welcoming and easy to communicate with before, during and after our stay.
The welcome from our host was superb and the welcome pack amazing. The property is very well fitted out and a very enjoyable place to stay the wildlife and the location is great. And when the thunderstorm following the heatwave managed to take out the house wifi, the rapid and competent response from our hosts was awesome customer service!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ghyll Park Farm. It was perfect for our multigenerational group and everyone loved it. We have promised our family to rent this property again. Shiri provided a wonderful welcome of delicious homemade cakes with other goodies. There was also a very thoughtful and inspiring children's activity basket included. Simply superb in every way from the description of the place which if anything slightly undersells it to the welcome pack Ive never seen better and the attentiveness of the owner during our visit. Ten out of ten for everything. One thing to watch out for If you arrive after dark the entrance to the farm is impossible to see and could do with some lighting to highlight the two signs.
This was the best holiday accommodation weve ever had, based on its location, comfort, spaciousness and furnishings. Plus the unusually generous welcome pack which provided so many extras and treats. Thank you so much Shiri.

Wonderful house to stay in for family get together. The owners were very helpful and very friendly. It was definitely one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. The Welcome package was so very generous. We enjoyed making use of the Pizza oven and the BBQ and the Games Room.

Ghyll Park Farm is a beautiful place to stay! We were so impressed with how spacious and luxurious both the downstairs and upstairs was and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The beautiful decor made it feel so inviting and homely, and it was so lovely to be greeted by a welcoming hamper of treats. Our host, Shiri, was so friendly and accommodating and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend! I would highly recommend!

We are a family of 8, ranging in age from 9 to 85 years and spent a wonderful week at Ghyll Park Farm celebrating my husband's 85th birthday and enjoying a preChristmas gettogether. The accommodation was just perfect with a beautiful Christmas tree and a truly magnificent welcome pack, including a delicious birthday cake too. We could not have chosen a better venue! Thank you so much, Shiri for all your attention to detail. We shall have many happy memories of our wonderful holiday at the farm.
Would definitely recommend. A wonderful dog friendly cottage and the welcome pack was the best we have ever had including home made cakes. Everything we asked for was provided and the owners even tried to help with finding someone to look after the dogs for an evening. Such a relaxing stay as the garden was totally dog safe and the cottage decor just hit the right note of luxury but was still comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Ghyll Park Farm. The view from the cottage onto the paddocks is amazing and the setting is absolutely delightful and serene, with wonderful walking paths in the private woods and farmland. The house itself was very pretty and done up to such a superb standard, everything you need, very clean and very spacious. We will definitely return to explore the area more!
We had a fantastic stay at Ghyll Park Farm. It was a perfect place to celebrate our mums 70th birthday and comfortably accommodated our family of 10 6 adults, 4 kids 3 five and under. The accommodation had all the facilities we needed and the cleanliness was great. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and an example of the thoughtfulness of the hosts. We would stay again in a heartbeat!
We loved our stay at Ghyll Park Farm it is definitely much better than the description and pictures suggest so spacious and finished to a very high standard. Communication with the host was excellent! We particularly loved looking out on the lambs in the field in front. Plenty of the attendees mentioned that they'd like to bring their own families along. Only two things that could have improved out stay 1. A toast rack!, and 2. Instructions on how to change the central heating temperature setpoint it was set to 21 degrees and we were very warm and couldn't find anything in the welcome information about how to unlock the heating panels.
