The Pit Stop Reviews

The house is lovely, modern and well appointed. It was so clean and pristine that it was difficult to believe that we werent the first people to use it. Attention to detail was great and we didnt want for anything. Its handy for the bus into Chichester so no need to drive everywhere. The hot tub was great, but it was a shame we werent told that some elements of it werent working, resulting in a lot of effort and frustration. Its such a lovely house that were thinking of returning next year.

We had a fabulous stay. The house was perfect for our needs and the location worked extremely well for the wedding we were attending in Donnington. The house catered extremely well for 12 and the enclosed garden was a great bonus for the dogs. The house was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

House was beautiful and spotless. Very comfortable and the perfect place for a weekend away with girlfriends. The water pressure in the showers was disappointing and the road noise from the busy main road was a little annoying but on the whole a great house.
The houa was spacious & comfortable. Also well equipped with plates, bowls ,cutlery & glasses. The family enjoyed the Hot tub and being 12 of us appreciated the two washing machines and tumble dryers. The location is good foe visiting nearby beaches and places of interest, We would recommend this house for a family holiday.
The house was amazing what a beautiful property. First class family holiday. We had a problem with sky and had someone out within hour and all sorted. Everything had been thought of. Throws available for dogs. Hot Tub was fantastic we had such a lot of fun. The pictures of garden are miss leading, there is a lovely lawned area and patio with garden furniture all enclosed.

A wellpresented and spacious property, perfect for an extended family holiday with dogs. Located in a modern area with lots of local amenities. The park directly opposite the house was perfect for early morning offlead walks. I would thoroughly recommend this property.
Hot tub was not scheduled for maintenance during our stay which meant we could not use ot for 2 days. No instructions were left on how to deal with this problem. No contact details were available for the Owner. Sykes were difficult to get in contact with.

We booked this property to attend a nearby family wedding. Lovely and clean property with loads of space and plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen is really well stocked with loads of plates, glasses, cutlery etc. for entertaining. Hot tub and TV are great. Minor points and they are minor!, it would be nice if the shared bathrooms had a fixed shower head above the bath not just hand held and a shelf to put the soap on. Also, there is road noise in the upstairs bedrooms but fine with the windows closed. A smaller dining table would allow easier access around the dining area. But we would definitely stay again without hesitation.

Lovely house, spacious plenty of bathrooms! Beautiful decor, had everything we needed. Hosts quick to respond when we mentioned a minor issue. Great location with parking and a bus stop round the corner for quick access into Chichester. The large hot tub was also very popular! We would recommend.

What a great place! The set up, the layout and the decor of the house is all brilliant! It is brand new and super comfortable and accommodating for dogs and kids too. The hot tub is an amazing feature for relaxing in the evening and the kitchen perfect for group cooking and meals. Worth being aware that the house is on the edge of an estate but the double glazing shuts most the noise out and you are super accessibility to the countryside pubs and also Chichester town centre which is ideal. Would really recommend this place for groups with kids, dogs and adults to enjoy time together. Even when it was raining, the house was an ideal place to relax and eat and drink together.

Really great property. Very clean and new. We were a group of 10, 2 kids and 2 dogs and fit fine. Jacuzzi fit all of us. Theres also a bigger dining table there compared to whats in the pictures, we had all of us sitting down for dinner each night comfortably. Would happily stay again, great value for money.
Lovely house in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed our visit over the weekend. You can find everything you need in the house and we didnt have any issues during our stay.

Unfortunately, we were only able to stay a few days at Goodwood Retreat but those few days were absolute paradise. The house is amazing in every way spacious, cleanliness, decor, amenities, location I could go on and on. Every care and thought had gone into making our stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. As for the hot tub, it was absolutely awesome! We would definitely recommend Goodwood Retreat to any future families looking for somewhere luxurious to stay near Chichester. We will certainly come back again!
