The Manor House is a substantial six-bedroom countryside property in the High Weald National Landscape near Uckfield, East Sussex. Sleeping up to 12 guests, it's a serious option for family celebrations, group retreats and special occasions. The ground floor features an eye-catching inglenook fireplace with a wood burner and a formal dining room where all 12 guests can sit together exactly what a group needs.

The setting is genuinely special. Ashdown Forest the real-life inspiration for Winnie-the-Pooh's Hundred Acre Wood is just 400 metres away. Open fields stretch beyond the gardens and deer are regularly spotted nearby.

Six bedrooms sleep 12 across a ground-floor king-size or twin suite with en-suite and French doors to the garden, plus five first-floor rooms. These include two zip-and-link super-kings (convertible to twins), one double with en-suite, one double and one twin sharing the family bathroom. There are five bathrooms in total plus a ground-floor WC.

Sheffield Park and Garden (within 12 miles), Standen House (within 12 miles), Brighton and Eastbourne (both within 25 miles) offer excellent days out. Uckfield town is five miles south.
